First Christian Church is blessed with a long history of vital youth ministry and a fantastic group of young people.

Youth Group meetings occur Sunday evenings, 4:00-5:00 pm, from late August to the end of May.
We offer 4 youth groups to choose from:

At most any Sunday Youth Group meeting you will find young people playing, worshipping, studying, and learning. What differentiates Youth Grou from Sunday school is that lessons are topical and usually more experiential in nature.

Additionally, the Christian Church in Kentucky offers Summer Church Camp at two Outdoor Sanctuaries. Camps are divided by age and some offer special interest activities like Sailing Camp. You can lear more about Church Camp by visiting www.ccinky.net and looking under Outdoor Ministry.

Our Chi Rho and CYF groups (6th-12th Grade) also participate in a mission trip every summer. Past destinations include, Los Angeles, CA, Neon, KY, New Orleans, LA, West Palm Beach, FL, Cosby, TN and many more. This summer the Chi Rho will travel to Christmount Christian Assembly in Black Mountain, NC and the CYF will travel to the General Assembly of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Indianapolis, IN.
